For my Egyptian friends.
I cannot thank you guys more for everything you did for us. Without your efforts, this program could not have happen. But it did, and so successfully well done. We wouldn’t be enjoying our time that freely through local life in Egypt if it wasn’t for your care and protection. The program was so packed that we could see so much in just a week. And the tour in Red Sea was unforgettable; I have had one of the best times in my life there, experiencing the great mountains, valleys, desserts, and sea.
The most important thing I’ve learned from you guys is that you love your culture so much. From now on I’m going to tell everyone I know what I love about Taiwan, and I’m also going to discover more beauty of my own country because this is what a Taiwanese should do, be proud of our culture. Even though we have neither long history nor great lands, we have Taipei 101, the geographic scenes of Taroko, Orchid Island and Green Island (also great spots for snorkeling nad diving), and most of all, the delicious Taiwanese food!! I’d really like to welcome you guys if you’re coming to Taiwan. No matter through AMSEP or any other ways.
The Chinese character “緣” written on our gift for you guys represent our fate to meet each other and make friends together, and the poem below is about how we should cherish this luck.
So hope to see you again in the future, my friends!:)

To my dear Egyptian and Taiwanese friends :)
It has been four days since we left Egypt. Hope everything with you is fine.
It’s seems like a wonderful dream in my Egyptian trip. I still can’t believe that the days already finished actually. > < Thank you for taking good care of us. In Egypt, I tried so many things that I dare not to do before. Dancing crazily without alcohol, trying feteer and teheena, wearing galabaya, visiting pyramid (which seems like only exists in textbook before :P) and musk, attending local Egyptian wedding, going to Alexandria and appreciate Mediterranean, snorkeling at blue hole, climbing Saint Catherine Sinai(It’s my first time to see real snow!), visiting desert and canyon, driving beach buggy…… All of them are memorable experience! I could recall that when we arrived Benha before the program started, you guys always said that you have to prepare for our program again and again, and it is a dedicatedly prepared program indeed.:)))

It had been an amazing trip and a dream come true. Who would have guessed after Poland, we could meet again so soon? I know "Katowice Wild Pigs" really envy us!! =) Thank you, Salma, for organizing our trip. Of course, it would be great if you could have come with us, but I really enjoy our time in Cairo. Thank you Mohammed for everything, you are the best! I love your family. They are so adorable and I'll try to speak Arabic next time I see them! XD Thank you, Hosam and Omar. I will always remember our crazy "Aladdins" days. ("One dollar!" "One dollar!"; crazy train and bus…….)
Thank you, everyone in Egypt AMSEP. I learned a lot during the schistosoma lectures. It was not only a review for me, but I also gained new knowledge. (Finally, something beneficial as a senior.) Our tour in the hospital was really different from the ones in Taiwan. We could easily tell that you put in a lot of effort hoping to organize the perfect programs for us. We had a great time! Everyone has been so kind and enthusiastic. We are a big happy family.
Right now, half of my heart is still in Egypt. Still living in Egyptian time! For example, after 180 km/hr zigzagging between cars in Egypt, driving on the high way with 100 km/hr seemed way too slow…… ahhhh…. I miss Mahmoud's driving!! Every day we experienced something shocking and unique. (Like eating lunch at 5 p.m. and dinner at 11 p.m.) It's gonna take a while before I get used to Taiwan again.
I miss everyone in Egypt and I am sure you are having a fantastic time in Dahab! Take lots of pictures and don't worry, we'll eat your Chinese New Year Eve dinner for you!
Words are not enough to express my gratitude and thanks and my yearning to be with you all, so I'll stop now….
Best wishes and a Happy Chinese New Year! ♥
